The chest organ was designed and manufactured specifically to meet the requirements of St. Nikolai: It has a sustainable sound, can be transposed a semitone lower or higher, the concert pitch is variable up to 430 Hertz and it is possible to set a wide variety of temperatures.
In 2002, this instrument from the Gettorf Babel organ building workshop was handed over to the parish by the St. Nikolai e.V. organ building association.
