The Stende organ, built in 1898 by the Ludwigsburg firm E.F. Walcker & Co., has remained almost untouched, with only minor losses of pipes. The instrument is notable for its preservation in nearly original condition, making it a significant cultural monument of national importance in Latvia.

Inscription on the organ's casing walls document its tuning history: it was tuned on June 9, 1902, by C. Skerstens, and again on September 17, 1908, by Emīls Martins from Riga. In May and June 2001, the instrument was repaired by Jānis Kalniņš from Ugāle. The organ, featuring 8 stops, is intoned with a "cathedral" sound that suits the relatively small space perfectly, and the masterful design of its disposition allows for the performance of music from various forms and eras. The excellent acoustics of the church further enhance the organ's sound.
