The organ of Saint Anne’s Church is the third largest in Latvia and was built with a Neo-Gothic prospectus. It was implemented based on drawings by the famous Latvian composer Alfrēds Kalniņš. It has 4 manuals, 1 pedal and 56 stops.
One of the three organs in the Baltic states which features remotely located pipes (known as antiphonal or Fernwerk pipes) in the attic. The sound produced by these pipes is guided through openings situated in other parts of the church. The other two organs in Baltic countries with similar separate pipe divisions are found at Sloka Evangelical Lutheran Church and Tartu Saint Paul’s Church.
Currently, the organ cannot be played due to its poor condition, and restoration work is underway.
