The Stadtkirche in Jever, rebuilt after a devastating fire in 1959, is a striking blend of old and new architectural elements. Designed by architect Prof. Dieter Oesterlen, the church maintains the Greek cross layout of its predecessor while incorporating modern materials like concrete alongside traditional brickwork. The church's entrance uses the original portals, connecting the new building with its historical past, including the Edo-Wiemken-Grabmal. Inside, the church features a grey granite altar and a prominent steel cross by Berlin artist Fritz Kühn.
