The organ at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grasberg was originally built for the church of the orphanage in Hamburg. When the orphanage was demolished in 1785, the organ builder Georg Wilhelm Wilhelmy from Stade acquired the instrument and installed it in the newly built Grasberg church in 1788. A significant restoration was carried out by the Gebrüder Hillebrand workshop from 1980 to 1984.
