The organ in Vidsmuiža's new Catholic church, built between 1910 and 1914, was constructed by the Blomberg brothers' organ-building firm in Warsaw. Given that the Blomberg firm went bankrupt around 1904, it is likely that the organ was transferred from the previous church to the newly built one.
In the old church, the organ might have been installed around 1900. A pedal with a pneumatic wind chest was added later, indicating subsequent enhancements to the original instrument.
