In 2014, the parish decided to commission a new organ due to the poor sound quality and irreparability of the old Kemper organ from the 1960s. After a thorough selection process, Kiel-based organ builder Paschen was chosen in 2017 to create the new instrument, which features 26 registers. Artist Uwe Appold was tasked with designing the organ case. The new organ was consecrated on May 12, 2019, by Bishop Gotthard Margaard during a church service.

The new organ includes 1,500 pipes and offers 26 different tonal colors, ranging from a small Waldflöte to a deep Posaune. The project cost a total of 400,000 euros, funded by the parish, donors, and sponsors. This new instrument provides a richer, more powerful sound while retaining the ability to produce softer tones, making it suitable for significant life events like weddings and funerals. The visually striking organ, with its bright green facade symbolizing hope, integrates historical carvings into its design, creating a "heavenly ladder" effect. Additionally, the organ has the capability to incorporate digital sounds, making it a unique hybrid organ in Northern Germany.
