The organ was constructed by Klaus Becker from Kupfermühle in 1972. In 2013, it underwent restoration with assistance from the German Foundation for Monument Protection as referenced in a press release. A tremulant was added to the organ, however, the specific date of this addition is unknown but it was presumably around 1608.
