The organ was built by Carsten Lund in 2015. The previous organ had been constructed by the Krohn company in 1956. It had 23 registers initially which were increased to 40 in 1970. However, due to many high registers lacking in sound fundamentals, which caused an unpleasant and harsh sound in the church, a decision was made to build a new one. The old organ has since 2013 been located in the Eben-Haëzerkerk in the Dutch town of Ouddop. The organ created by Lund is based on a romantic "allround" instrument.
