The organ was constructed by Freiburger Orgelbau August Späth, op. 832 in 1973. In 2008, the organ underwent a thorough cleaning and reconstruction by Orgelmacherei Merklin/Johannes Matthias Gottstein in Hamburg. This renovation included the removal of the original coupling manual, alterations to the mechanics, the addition of a manual coupler, and a remodeling of the Sesquialtera and Mixtur (HW) to semi-draws (2 2/3' / 2').
