Claudius Winterhalter (* April 10, 1953) is a German organ builder.

Claudius Winterhalter first came into contact with organ building in his father's workshop, Franz Winterhalter, who was also a church musician. He received his first piano and organ lessons from him, and later learned to play the flute.

After completing his training as an organ builder and gaining practical experience, he passed the master craftsman examination at the Instrument Making School in Ludwigsburg in 1975/1976. At that time, he was one of the youngest organ builders ever. Claudius Winterhalter continued his education in various workshops, particularly focusing on the construction of French organs from the 18th and 19th centuries. In the summer of 1983, he officially took over his father's workshop.

Claudius Winterhalter's main areas of activity are in the fields of voicing and design. His workshop typically employs around ten staff members. He lives and works in Zell am Harmersbach and Oberharmersbach in the Black Forest.
