Anton Škrabl is a renowned organ builder who founded his workshop in Brestovec near Rogaška Slatina, Slovenia, in 1990. Škrabl learned the craft of organ building in Germany, first at the Orgelbauschule Ludwigsburg and later with the firm Orgelbau Sandtner in Dillingen an der Donau. Upon returning to Slovenia, he became the first active organ builder in the country since 1940. Initially, Škrabl was involved in establishing the Diocesan Workshop for Organ Building in Maribor before starting his own business.

Since its inception, Škrabl's workshop has grown to employ nearly 60 people and has produced over 360 new organs. His contributions have significantly impacted the organ building landscape in Slovenia and beyond, marking a revival of the craft in the region and earning international recognition for quality and craftsmanship.
