The inscription on the panel indicates that the organ is the 39th opus of Carl Büttner, an organ builder from Jelgava, although the year of construction is not mentioned. Initially, the instrument was located in a Catholic church and was transferred to Tukums around an unspecified year. Carl Büttner used the case and prospect of an 18th-century Baroque instrument.

The beautiful Baroque prospect houses a mid-19th-century single-manual instrument with a suspended pedal. The original beauty of the prospect is currently obscured by multiple layers of paint and inappropriate electrical installations. The organ's placement, tightly against the back wall of the church, not only hinders its visibility from below but also complicates proper maintenance.
