An inscription on the inside of the southern wall of the organ case reveals:
"This organ was built by Hl. Bittnerr in the year 1861. It was consecrated by Provost Raison on March 12, 1861. The first person to play this organ during a service was H. Strauss from Riga."
This organ, constructed by Carl Büttner in 1861, has been preserved in almost original condition. The historical significance and the well-preserved state of the instrument make it a notable example of organ craftsmanship from that period.
