The organ in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lanze, built by Folkert Becker in 1877, is a two-manual, mechanical slider chest organ with a neogothic case designed by church architect Conrad Wilhelm Hase. The organ’s design and aesthetic are closely integrated with the church’s interior, matching the stylistic preferences of the period. Remarkably, the organ has remained completely original since its construction. However, it became unplayable for approximately 25 years before undergoing a significant restoration.

In 2013, the organ was meticulously restored by the "Orgelbau in Ostfriesland" workshop under the direction of Martin ter Haseborg. This restoration addressed various issues, including replacing tin-pest-affected pipe feet and returning the organ to its original sound quality and appearance. The wind supply was also relocated inside the church for better climate control, and the organ’s decorative elements were restored to their original color scheme. The restored organ was re-inaugurated in December 2013, revitalizing a significant historical instrument and enhancing the local organ landscape.
