Built in 1871 by the Itzehoe organ builder Nagel (an apprentice from the Walcker workshop), this organ bears stylistic similarities to the Marcussen organs of the 19th century. According to the relatively sparse sources available, parts from the organ present in the Breitenburg chapel were incorporated into this instrument. However, these parts cannot originate from the currently intact organ in the chapel but are likely even older.
