The organ was built in 1880 by the Marcussen & Søn company in Aabenraa. Reconstructions were carried out in 1943 by the Brandt company (interventions in the scheduling) and around 1975 by the Walcker company. In 1996 the Lobback company returned it to its original condition with some changes being made, including changing the action of the upper mechanism, replacing the wind machine, retaining the Walcker bellows and rebuilding the swell housing.
