St. Antonius Church in Fintel was inaugurated in 1884 and has a striking neo-Gothic architectural style. In 2001, the church received a new organ built by the Christian Wegscheider organ workshop from Dresden. The design and concept of this organ were inspired by the works of Friedrich Friese, a prominent 19th-century organ builder from Mecklenburg. The organ's case, sound, and materials reflect the German Romantic organ-building tradition of the 1870s, making it a perfect match for the church's architectural style.

The organ features 16 stops spread across two manuals and a pedalboard, with a manual compass from C to f’’’ and a pedal compass from C to d’. It has a slightly unequal temperament, tuned to a pitch of a = 440 Hz at 15°C. The organ's specification includes principal voices, flutes, and string stops, providing a rich and warm tone typical of the Romantic period. The inclusion of stops like the Bordun 16’, Viola da Gamba 8’, and Trompete 8’ enhances its versatility and ability to handle a wide range of Romantic organ literature. This instrument replaced a neobaroque organ built in 1963, which had become non-functional after just 35 years. The new organ by Wegscheider has since become a centerpiece of the church's musical life.
