Friedrich Samuel Jantzen built a one-manual organ without pedals in 1798, as indicated by the master craftsman's label glued inside the windchest. Originally intended for another church, it was later relocated, likely in the late 19th century, to its current location. At that time, pedals were added along with a new air system, though the original structure remained intact.

In 1924, E. Martin installed Laukhuff metal pipes in the instrument, possibly replacing the original metal pipes by A. Laukhuff. The organ now features a manual with pedals, based on Jantzen's original design. The original metal pipes are lost and replaced with Laukhuff ones, while some original wooden pipes and the facade remain intact.

Despite this preservation, some parts show signs of neglect: two registers lack pipes, and the organ suffers from significant dirt and disrepair. Additionally, the juxtaposition of the added pedal windchest with the organ's beautiful Empire-style facade creates a discordant visual impression.
