Originally thought to have been built by W. L. Roberts Ltd., Adelaide, records show that the organ was planned and built by L.B. Cousans using some parts supplied by Roberts Ltd, such as windchests, wind system and maybe the metal pipework, although later research shows that the original metal pipes were made by A. Palmer and Sons, London.
Alterations by L B Cousans Ltd 1933. Primary action converted to electro-pneumatic.
Rebuilt 1967 with addtions by J.E. Dodd & Sons Gunstar Organ Works, Adelaide.
Many aspects of this rebuild were found to be completely unsatisfactory. In 1970, John Larner (F.J. Larner & Co.) was asked to quote for rectifying all the current problems with the instrument plus additional stops. The revised instrument was completed in 1971.

Salvaged and completed 1994 F.J. Larner & Co
Installation of a completely new processor, capture system and the Swell engine was undertaken by Tomasz Nowak in 2024.
