The organ in the Evangelical Church of Blender was built by Philipp Furtwängler in 1852. It features a diverse array of stops across its two manuals and pedal, with 22 total stops. The Hauptwerk (main work) includes a range of pipes from Bordun 16’ to Trompete 8’, providing a robust foundation and a bright mixture. The Nebenwerk (secondary work) has stops like Geigenprincipal 8’ and Gedactflöte 4’, offering a variety of tonal colors. The pedal division includes Subbaß 16’ and Posaune 16’, adding depth and power to the instrument.

The organ has undergone several significant changes throughout its history. In 1937, it was altered by Furtwängler & Hammer under the direction of Verdener Orgelrevisor A. Hoppe to give it a more baroque character. A major restoration was completed by Franz Rietzsch in 1999-2000, preserving the original case and revitalizing the instrument. This restoration was celebrated with a re-inauguration on Easter Monday, April 24, 2000. The organ now maintains its historical significance and continues to serve the congregation with its rich and varied sound.
