One of the few remaining instruments built by the Jēkabpils master Andrejs Sūnāklis, this organ's original location and construction year are currently unknown. It appears that the instrument was initially situated elsewhere.
Based on the firm's mark on the console (with a Germanized surname), the use of mechanical cone chests, and metal pipes manufactured by the Aug. Laukhuff company, the organ likely dates from around the turn of the 19th to 20th century. Sūnāklis' work continued until the mid-1930s. This small single-manual instrument without pedals features metal pipes from the Aug. Laukhuff factory and may have originally been housed in a school building. Interestingly, both of Bauska's historical instruments were built in Jēkabpils.
