The organ was constructed by Carl Voigt from Halberstadt in 1866/67. Initially, an organ was present before the church's remodeling between 1552-57 (the sacristy was still called the "Old Bellows Chamber" in 1770). A new organ was built by Heinrich Herbst in 1692 on a new organ loft, followed by the construction of a 34 register organ by Christoph Meybaum from Osterwieck in 1729/30. In 1990, the organ was dismantled and stored in the tower due to renovation works. The organ was rebuilt in 2001 by Reinhard Hüfken Orgelbau, also from Halberstadt. The prominent feature of this organ is the original prospect pipes from its 1866 build.
