The organ was constructed by Detlef Kleuker in 1965. In 1996, the organ underwent a renovation by Orgelbau Babel (Gettorf), during which the tracker action was electrified. The original 32' acoustic bass was fully expanded, and the Principalpiffaro 2f 8' + 4' stop was divided into two individual stops. In 2003, the organ was further expanded to include a 32' bassoon and an 8' chamade. In 2010, a 5-fold 8' cornet was added.
