The organ was constructed by an anonymous builder in 1681 for the church in Ulsnis. In 1786, it was sold to Brodersby. Over the next century, the organ underwent several repairs and modifications. Specifically, in 1810, 1828, and 1900/1901, repairs were conducted. The 1900/1901 repair and remodeling was done by Emil Hansen, who made changes to the organ's musical arrangement according to the style at the time and added the grand octave. In 1917, the organ's façade pipes were given up for war purposes. In 1924, a zinc façade was installed by Emanuel Kemper. In 1966, a major restoration was carried out by Hinrich Otto Paschen, which included the addition of a 16' sub-bass and an approach to restore the organ's disposition to its original state. Johann Daniel Busch constructed the organ for the one acquired from Ulsnis in 1786.
