Nicholson & Co. Ltd, established in 1841 by John Nicholson, is a prominent manufacturer of pipe organs based in the UK. The company specializes in creating new instruments as well as undertaking historical restorations, rebuilds, and renovations. A significant milestone for Nicholson & Co. was in 2013 when they completed the first entirely new instrument in a British cathedral since 1962, installed at Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff.

The Nicholson family of organ builders originated from Rochdale, Lancashire, but John Nicholson moved the business to Worcester in 1840, setting up his workshop near the cathedral. The company quickly gained a reputation for high-quality work, including notable projects at Malvern Priory, Worcester Shire Hall, and Gloucester Shire Hall. Throughout the latter half of the 19th century, Nicholson & Co. supplied organs to numerous parish churches across England and Scotland, and even shipped instruments to countries such as China, Australia, and New Zealand. Successive leadership, including Arthur Whinfield and Stanley Lambert, introduced several innovations like patent key-touches, pneumatic action, and electro-pneumatic action, ensuring the company's relevance and technological advancement in the field. The company has completed major projects in various prestigious locations, including Portsmouth Cathedral and Southwell Minster, maintaining its reputation for excellence in organ building.
