Verschueren Orgelbouw is a distinguished Dutch organ building company located in Heythuysen, known for its global operations. Founded on May 5, 1891, by Leon Verschueren (1866–1957), the firm initially manufactured organ parts for other workshops but soon transitioned to constructing complete organs. The company gained significant influence under the guidance of Max Bittner, a skilled craftsman from a South German organ-building family who worked there from 1904 to 1955 and integrated late Romantic principles into their designs.

Throughout the 20th century, the company expanded under the stewardship of Leon Verschueren’s four sons—Leon, Emile, Ton, and Frans—from 1920 until 1977. During this period, the company crafted its largest organ for Sint-Catharinakerk in Eindhoven, influenced by the Orgelbewegung (Organ Movement) that favored a return to baroque sound ideals. Emile and his son George managed a branch in Tongeren, Belgium, from 1937 until George's death in 1998, which became independent in 1951 and served both Belgian and German markets. In 1977, Léon III, Frans' son, took over, continuing the family legacy into the third generation. In 2010, the company was transformed into a foundation, Stichting Verschueren Orgelbouw Heythuysen, with Johan Zoutendijk serving as the director, ensuring the firm's dedication to quality organ construction continues into the modern era.
