Klop Early Keyboard Instruments, originally established by Gerrit Cornelius Klop in 1966, is a renowned Dutch company specializing in the construction of historical keyboard instruments. Initially based in De Meern, the workshop moved to Garderen in 1980, where it continues to operate. The company is known for crafting instruments such as chest organs, larger organs, harpsichords, and spinets, all built following historical designs. Gerrit Klop, originally a chemist, transitioned into instrument making, focusing on creating high-quality instruments inspired by historical models.

In 1995, Henk Klop, Gerrit's son, took over the company, continuing the family tradition of craftsmanship. Henk's son, Niels Klop, joined the business in 2014, ensuring that the company remains a family-run enterprise. Klop Early Keyboard Instruments is especially recognized for its handmade chest organs, which feature wooden pipes and are designed for easy transportation. The company employs around ten people, dedicated to maintaining the high standards of historical accuracy and quality in their instruments.
