Carl Schuster & Sohn was an organ-building company based at Pflanzeltplatz 2 in Munich, operating from around 1920 until 1974. The firm delivered numerous organs throughout Upper Bavaria. Carl Schuster (born January 20, 1886; died July 26, 1975) worked with Magnus Schmid between the two World Wars under the name Schuster & Schmid. However, some instruments from that period are branded under either individual's name. After World War II, the company adopted the name Münchener Orgelbau, which was later transferred to Wilhelm Stöberl upon the firm's dissolution in 1975, and then to Johannes Führer in 1994 as Münchner Orgelbau.

Until the 1950s, Schuster built exclusively pneumatic or electro-pneumatic cone chests. From 1960 onwards, the company constructed slider, cone, and pocket chests simultaneously.
