Agostino Buratti, a Dominican friar at the Sant'Agnese Church in Montepulciano, is believed to have constructed the unique wooden organ at the nearby Santa Maria delle Grazie Church. A self-taught organ builder, Buratti specialized in creating organs with wooden pipes, adhering to the Renaissance tradition. He likely built the organ between 1714 and 1717 for Sant'Agnese Church. In 1832, the organ was relocated to Santa Maria delle Grazie Church to make room for a larger instrument.
